About Us
LiveWell Senior Care, formerly Friendly Senior Care Services, was founded in 2015, by Harriet Sore. Harriet’s first client was a senior affected by Parkinson’s disease. She hadn’t met anyone affected by Parkinson’s, neither did she have much knowledge about Parkinson’s disease. Harriet immersed herself in learning more about Parkinson’s through books she received from the Parkinson’s foundation. Harriet also worked closely with neurologist & movement disorder specialists, attended trainings offered by the Parkinson’s foundation, as well as attended the once-a-year Heartland Parkinson’s Symposium.
In the first two years 75 percent of the company’s clients had Parkinson’s disease. At that point, Harriet, discovered that working with seniors affected by Parkinson’s requires different set of skills in senior care. Based on this discovery, Harriet formed LiveWell Senior Care, a Non-medical senior care services that offer specialized in-home care and support to seniors, including those affected by Parkinson’s disease in the Kansas City Metro area. LiveWell Senior Care provides clients and their families peace of mind as he/she/they will always be able to count on a knowledgeable caregiver who will be their caring trusted support.

Safely handling blood pathogens and bodily fluids.
Assisting clients using gait belts, walkers, and wheelchairs.
Cleaning and aiding in the application/removal of dentures.
Assisting with the application/removal of hearing aids.
Providing personal care assistance.
CPR/First aid.
Additionally, our caregivers receive specialized, in-house training for Parkinson's Senior Care, equipping them with the unique skills required for seniors affected by Parkinson's.
